This loop ran right here.

For a while you could run Ruxpin’s capture loop in this page: record a thought about whatever you were reading, watch it come back as a clean transcript with the details pulled out, then think it through with a reflection. No account, nothing saved — it existed to answer one question, which was whether the loop felt as good as it sounded.

One real pass through the prototype while it ran — a spoken thought in, transcript and reflection out. Recorded off the running app, not a mockup.

It answered yes, so the loop moved to where it belongs — a phone, in your hand, at the moment you look up from the page. Everything the prototype only sketched, the app actually does: your thoughts land in a library organized around what you’re reading, and the record builds into a portrait of you as a reader. Ruxpin is on the App Store now.

The rest of how it got built — the full story — runs from the thought I kept losing through the designs and the architecture to App Review. About four minutes.
